TalejuHub Buyer Agreement

Terms of Purchase · www.talajuhub.com · Version 1.0.0 · 2026-09-15

This Agreement applies to every TalejuHub user who buys on talejuhub.com — buyers, sellers, delivery partners, travel and rental partners and service providers — whenever they purchase a product or service.

1. Acceptance of Agreement

By creating a TalejuHub buyer account, using www.talajuhub.com, placing an order, purchasing a product or service, or electronically accepting this Agreement, the buyer agrees to this Buyer Agreement and applicable TalejuHub policies.

The buyer must not create an account or make a purchase if the buyer does not agree to these terms.

2. Buyer Eligibility and Account

The buyer must be legally capable of entering into the applicable transaction.

The buyer agrees to provide accurate and current information.

The buyer is responsible for protecting account credentials.

The buyer must immediately report suspected unauthorized access.

The buyer may not: impersonate another person; provide false information; create an account for fraudulent or unlawful purposes; use another person's payment information without authorization; or manipulate transactions, refunds, promotions or accounts.

3. TalejuHub's Role

TalejuHub is an online marketplace through which buyers may purchase eligible products and services from TalejuHub and/or independent sellers and service providers.

Where an independent seller supplies a product, the seller remains responsible for its product information, authenticity, legality, quality, safety, fulfillment and applicable warranty obligations to the extent required by law.

Nothing in this Agreement eliminates any legal responsibility imposed on TalejuHub, a seller, manufacturer, importer, distributor, logistics provider or other service provider.

4. Product and Service Information

Before checkout, TalejuHub displays the applicable information: product/service name, description, price, quantity, specifications, seller/provider, applicable taxes, shipping/delivery charge, total payable amount, estimated delivery, warranty/guarantee, return/refund conditions and other legally required information.

False, deceptive, counterfeit or materially misleading listings are prohibited.

5. Orders and Electronic Records

Every order creates an electronic transaction record.

The buyer receives: order number, order date, product/service, seller, quantity, price, taxes, shipping, total amount, payment status, delivery information and tracking when available.

6. Payment

Only authorized payment methods may be used.

Before payment, the complete amount payable is shown. No hidden mandatory charges are added after the buyer confirms the purchase.

The buyer represents that they are authorized to use the selected payment method.

7. Shipping and Delivery

The buyer must provide accurate delivery information.

Tracking information is provided where available, together with order and delivery status notifications.

Estimated delivery dates are estimates unless expressly guaranteed.

8. Domestic Return Policy — Nepal Only

TalejuHub's standard online return workflow applies to eligible domestic orders purchased and delivered within Nepal.

The system always preserves any mandatory return, exchange, refund, replacement, repair or compensation right provided under Nepalese law.

Change-of-mind returns: if the correct item was delivered, the item is not damaged, not defective, authentic, matches the description, there was no seller/TalejuHub fulfillment error and the return is otherwise eligible, the buyer may be responsible for the return shipping cost ONLY where such a charge is permitted by applicable Nepalese law.

Return shipping is not deducted, and no return charge is imposed, where Nepalese law prohibits such a deduction or additional charge.

9. Wrong, Damaged or Defective Items

The buyer does not bear the return shipping cost when the problem is attributable to the seller, TalejuHub or the fulfillment/delivery process, including: wrong item, damaged item, defective item, counterfeit item, item materially not as described, incorrect quantity, seller fulfillment error and delivery damage.

The return, replacement, refund or other remedy is handled according to applicable law and TalejuHub policy.

10. Statutory Return Rights

The TalejuHub system incorporates the return rights and exceptions required by Nepal's Consumer Protection Act, 2075 and other applicable law. Statutory rights are not replaced by a more restrictive TalejuHub policy.

Where the law permits a qualifying consumer to return an item within the applicable statutory period, TalejuHub honors that right. Where the law prohibits deduction from the price or additional charges for a statutory return, the buyer is not charged.

Statutory exceptions apply for categories and conditions where returns are legally excluded.

11. International Orders

TalejuHub's standard domestic return workflow is not available for international orders. Instead of “Return Item”, international orders show “Report a Problem” and “Contact Customer Support”.

International customers can still report: wrong item, damaged item, defective item, counterfeit item, missing item, materially misdescribed item or any other order problem.

Any rights or remedies required by applicable law are still honored.

12. Warranty and Product Quality

Applicable warranty or guarantee information is displayed clearly.

Manufacturer or seller warranties do not replace mandatory consumer rights.

13. Prohibited Activities

The following are prohibited: fraud, identity theft, unauthorized payment use, false refund claims, account manipulation, illegal purchases, transactions involving prohibited goods or services, abuse of promotions and system interference.

14. Privacy and Data

Only information reasonably required for account management, orders, payments, delivery, customer service, fraud prevention, security and legal compliance is collected.

Personal information is protected according to the Privacy Act, 2075, other applicable Nepalese privacy requirements and TalejuHub's Privacy Policy.

15. Buyer Complaints

Buyers can raise a complaint for: product not received, wrong item, damaged product, defective product, counterfeit product, product not as described, payment problem, unauthorized transaction, refund issue, seller complaint, delivery complaint or other.

Supporting photos and documents may be uploaded. Each complaint receives a unique Case Number.

16. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the applicable laws of Nepal, including the Electronic Commerce Act, 2081, applicable e-commerce directives, the Consumer Protection Act, 2075, the Electronic Transactions Act, 2063, the Privacy Act, 2075 and the National Civil Code, 2074.

Nothing in this Agreement prevents the buyer from exercising a legal consumer right or seeking a remedy from a competent government authority, regulator, tribunal or court.

17. Required Registration Acceptance

Before creating an account, the buyer must tick an unchecked acceptance box:

I have read and agree to the TalejuHub Buyer Agreement, Terms of Purchase, Privacy Policy, Return & Refund Policy, and Shipping & Delivery Policy. I understand that my purchases are subject to applicable laws of Nepal.

The box is never pre-checked and account creation is blocked until the buyer accepts.

18. Acceptance Record

When the buyer accepts, TalejuHub securely records the user ID, agreement version, policy versions, selected language, acceptance date and time and acceptance status.

An old agreement is never silently overwritten; version history is maintained so TalejuHub can determine which agreement each buyer accepted.

19. Return System

For domestic Nepal orders the buyer is asked: “Why are you returning this item?” and chooses one of the listed reasons.

  • Wrong item received
  • Damaged item
  • Defective item
  • Item not as described
  • Counterfeit / suspected counterfeit
  • Incorrect quantity
  • Changed my mind
  • No longer needed
  • Other

20. Return Amount Display

Blank or placeholder amounts are never displayed. Only actual calculated amounts are shown, for example: Return Shipping: NPR 150 · Refund Amount: NPR 2,350.

Before deducting return shipping, the system determines whether applicable Nepalese law permits that charge for the particular return. If a statutory return right prohibits a deduction or additional charge, return shipping is not deducted from the refund.

21. Employee Handling of Cases

All return cases, complaints, disputes and approvals requiring TalejuHub employee involvement are managed from www.talajuhub.com/emp.

Authorized employees see the case number, buyer, seller, order, product, return reason, domestic/international status, photos and evidence, shipping responsibility, refund amount, seller response, buyer response, employee notes, case history and final decision. Only employees with appropriate permissions may access these records.

22. Language

Every buyer-facing agreement, policy, warning, button, return reason, complaint status and important checkout message is available in English and नेपाली.

Changing the language does not change the legal meaning of this Agreement.

23. Compliance

Where a TalejuHub internal policy conflicts with a mandatory provision of applicable Nepalese law, the applicable law controls.

Legal policies are version-controlled so they can be updated when Nepal's e-commerce, consumer protection, privacy or other applicable laws change. This Agreement is subject to final review by a qualified Nepalese lawyer before production launch.
